Brothers and Sisters,

It is with deep regret that I am writing this letter to inform the membership of my cancer diagnosis. Unfortunately I will not be able to fulfill my duties as chairperson of the retirees chapter & wish the chapter all the luck in the future. It has been an honour to serve our retirees chapter all these years as your chairman. Through good times & bad I did my very best to uphold our values & to make sure we continued to be a group that was held in high esteem throughout not only the UNIFOR group but other unions as well. From standing in snowstorms, torrential rain & in the face of intimidation tactics on picket lines throughout the country we stood strong! I leave the group in good hands & financially sound wishing each and everyone of you the best in all your future endeavors.
