Hello everyone out there, retired or still (lucky) working! We just came back from Timmins where we spent few hours with our brothers on the picket line. Here are pictures of the day, minus picture taker (guess who) mighty Geo! Day was nice and pleasant for driving through NDP country. Ha ha! Picket line was well attended & they were happy to see us again. We promised to be back if strike is not settled. Our Retirees Chapter made a financial contribution to picketers president Jeff Martin. We did not and will not forget the help that we got from them in our long strike a few years back!! This is all about "Solidarity" so if you have few minutes check pictures that speak for themselves.
Retirees monthly membership meeting is on Tuesday October 28 at the Hall at 9:30 AM If you are interested to take a run to Timmins, make a point to attend and put your name in for next trip. Might get lucky and win Wolves
hockey game tickets also.
